Another reason we love plesk so much.  The upgrade to Plesk 8.3 changed all the passive port settings that we permit via our firewall to ports that were not supported.  We had one report of this today, and we fixed it in minutes. Read More »

People who are using Microsoft Access (Jet) databases were getting a runtime error.  This we have seen before almost a year ago when we did our last control panel upgrade, and as soon as it was reported, we knew exactly where to go to fix it.  The temp folder that holds the JET data was not allowing the users of the web sites to use the temp folder due to permissions issues.   This is now resolved. Sorry for the troubles this may have caused. If you are still experiencing any issues, please call us and let us know right away. Read More »

We are starting an update for windows 4 to move to plesk 8.3.  This fixes several bugs in the control panel, along with adding some additional features to the control panel for the user.  The control panel access should be limited during this, and web and mail may bounce a couple of times during this upgrade.  Thanks! We are upgrading cPanel 3 again today and so some slow downs and even an outage here or there will be normal today. We're sorry for the dust. The benefit will be higher speeds and greater reliability.

We're going to be upgrading cpanel 3 today. It will get some new hard disks so that our users will have more room to grow in the future. We expect very little down time for the upgrade, but server performance may be slightly degraded while we copy data to the new disks.

cPanel 4 will go down for a short period of time this morning while we move the existing data (well, re-sync it) to the new, huge mirrored Raid 1 Array.  We are doing this because the existing drives are close to max, and we are about to roll out some huge plans which will include upgrading the existing customers on the server.

We will post up when its all done.  We guess it will be down for 20 - 30 minutes.

We just installed ASP.NET (.net framework 3.5) onto Windows 4.  Enjoy!
